Paul Chelstad, Sioux City IA

Born in Sioux City Iowa, 1948. As a muralist, moved to New York in 1979. Artistic focus changed to stencils upon meeting stencil guru and mensch Alex Vallauri in April of 1982. Participated in Stencil Invaders show at the Alain Bilhand Gallery in December of 1982. Began painting murals et cetera for Patricia Field in 1985. Show at MK in 1989. Returned to Sioux City in 1994. Continues to produce stencil based paintings, murals and sculpture.
